Hi There, I'm Rich Butler, President of W.I.S.E. Retail Solutions, Inc.
and inventor of Moon Dust Pens™, the newest and coolest "Space" themed pen to hit the market in nearly 50 years!
As a kid, I was always intrigued with NASA and our country's commitment to space exploration. I remember watching TV with my parents as the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo missions played out before my eyes. I remember, like it was yesterday, when Astronaut Neil Armstrong descended the lunar module, stepped onto the moon's surface, and spoke his now famous words, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind". Has it really been nearly 40 years since we stepped foot on another planetary body? |

A couple years ago, I learned that I had unique access to securing JSC-1A Lunar Regolith or "Moon Dust". Developed in the U.S. to support NASA’s future exploration and research of the lunar surface, this replicated simulant resembles the particle size, mineralogy and properties of real lunar mare soil. To many, including myself, there is just something mystical and magical about "moon dust". With
the upcoming 40th Anniversary of man's proudest achievement - the 1969 Apollo Moon Landing, along with the celebration of NASA 50 Years Anniversary, I thought it would be cool to capture these historic events in limited edition, commemorative pens that would showcase the only lunar soil simulant approved by NASA! |
